To prepare for a tarot reading, choose the format, decide which relationship question matters most, and check the price and delivery time. At Love by Koko, email uses preset questions, audio has a fixed monthly focus, and video accepts your custom question. Match your question to the format before ordering.
How to prepare for a tarot reading
A good start is to decide what kind of reading you want before you place an order. If you choose email, the reading is delivered as one downloadable PDF saved in My Readings, and each selected question gets its own three-card interpretation. For a broader overview of the options, see the reading formats page.
1. Choose the format first
Pick the format that matches how much detail you want and how you want to receive it. The Email Love Reading is a one-time purchase priced at $15 per question, with question packs at $30 for two, $42 for three, and $60 for four; the three-question bundle is a $3 saving compared with three separate questions. Audio is monthly, and Signature Video starts from $99. Each format has its own delivery style and limits.
2. Compare the format and price
Before ordering, compare how you prefer to receive the reading. Email comes as a PDF interpreted by Lilia or Regina using Koko’s method; KOKO records audio and video personally. For example, if you like revisiting a written answer, email may suit that preference. If hearing a reading matters more, consider the recorded options. Review email reading question packs to choose the preset questions that fit your situation.
3. Choose the relevant person
For each email question, decide which person that question concerns. The format links one person to each question; this does not mean every question in the order must concern the same person. As a preparation exercise, write down the connection and the question you most want to explore before choosing from the presets. The guide to choosing a love reading explains the format choices.
4. Focus one clear question
For a custom video reading, narrow your notes to one clear question. A hypothetical example is: “What should I consider about this connection before deciding my next step?” This focuses a single topic instead of combining reconciliation, a new relationship and several unrelated questions. Email works differently: select from its established presets instead of submitting that example as custom email wording. Audio has an included fixed monthly focus.
5. Check delivery and access
It also helps to know how and when you will receive the reading. Email readings are delivered in about 48 hours under standard timing, or in about 2 hours with express for an extra $10. Paid readings are saved privately in My Readings, and email PDFs can be opened and downloaded. That means you can prepare once, then return to the reading later if you want to reflect again.
A simple preparation checklist
Before you order, decide the format, the price, the person the reading is about, the one question you want answered, and whether standard or express delivery is right for you. Keep your notes brief and relevant. If you want to avoid overloading the reading, it can help to leave out extra background that does not change the question.
