A tarot journal template gives you a consistent place to record the question, cards and your interpretation. LoomJournals’ tarot journal template includes fields for the deck, spread and card draw. The original template below adds a clear separation between symbolic ideas, facts you know and questions still unanswered. Copy it into a notebook or document and adapt it to your practice.

Date and deck: My question in one sentence: Spread positions chosen before drawing: Cards, positions and orientations: First details I noticed: My tentative interpretation: Facts I actually know: What I am assuming or still wondering: One optional next step: Later reflection, with a new date:
These fields are our own suggested record. Leave a line empty when you do not know the answer. You do not need to manufacture an insight to complete the page.
Keep observation separate from interpretation
LoomJournals’ tarot journal template records card details and personal reflection. In our template, “a figure faces away” belongs with what you noticed; “this reminds me of avoiding a conversation” belongs with interpretation. Neither establishes what another person thinks.
Use our facts-and-assumptions note if those categories blur. For a hypothetical relationship entry, you might record an unanswered invitation as a fact while keeping your explanation for the silence in the assumptions column.
Return to the entry without rewriting its history
Our suggestion is to add a dated follow-up below the original entry. What did you learn from a conversation? Did you change your view? Was a detail simply irrelevant? Keep the first wording so you can see the difference.
Read our guide to repeating tarot cards if the same card appears again. You can notice repetition without turning it into an instruction to keep drawing. A journal can include uncertainty, disagreement and days when you choose not to read.
Use the notes to prepare one useful question
If you want a personal reading, choose one unresolved reflective question about a person you know. Avoid copying a long full set of notes into an order when a concise question would express the concern. Compare the current Love by Koko reading formats first.
Your journal remains useful whether you purchase anything or not. We recommend finishing each entry with a choice that belongs to you, such as preparing a conversation, rather than a claim that the cards require a particular outcome.
Explore your question in a personal reading
For a symbolic perspective on your connection with this person, you can ask a custom question in a Signature Video Reading: “What could I reflect on about the assumptions I am bringing to this connection?” Koko personally records the reading, with a starting price of $99 and starting length of 15 minutes. Standard delivery is 7–10 days; optional 24-hour Express adds $49.
Read our guide to choosing a love reading. Readings are for entertainment and reflection. They do not establish another person’s thoughts or promise an outcome.
